  1. The weather is nice, which is ideal working weather. With the warm weather, you don't have to worry about El Nino coming.
  2. With the natural light, you can see what colors will look like in your home.
  3. Usually summer allows for more flexible schedules, such as not having to take the kids to school.

  1. Check for any missing or cracked electrical plates and replace them.
  2. Check for any missing or cracked caulking around tubs and windows.
  3. Tighten loose screws, such as your cabinet drawer pulls, doors, and doorknobs.
  4. Check all locks and hinges are working smoothly - if not, add graphite or appropriate oil.
  5. Vacuum or wipe off your vent covers, under the refrigerator, the refrigerator coils, light bulbs, the ceiling fan housing and blades, and all other places you normally skip while cleaning.
  6. Check your fire extinguisher charge - if it is in the caution or dead area, replace it.
  7. Check all smoke alarm and CO2 batteries, replace if needed.

  • Only use fireworks outdoors free of overhead obstructions and away from dry grass or other flammable materials.
  • Obey all local laws regarding the use of fireworks.
  • Never give fireworks to young children.
  • Wear safety glasses when shooting fireworks.
  • Always have a bucket of water and charged water hose nearby.
  • Dispose of spent product by wetting it down and place it in a metal trash can away from any building or combustible materials until morning.

Keeping these tips in mind to ensure a fun and safe 4th of July!
